Effects of Teacher Assimilationist Philosophy on Mexican American Students

Formal Versus Informal Education

There is a longstanding debate in some circles about the relative value of the intrinsic formal and informal education. This debate can affect our work in a reading program.We must distinguish between the formal and informal education and why it is necessary in this rapidly changing world and to distinguish, especially countries like Pakistan.

Formal Education

The term refers to the formal education system structured and scripted by the state provided for the children of this country are available. In most countries, formal education is a state-sponsored and state-run. In some countries like Pakistan, it allows the state and private certifying systems that provide a comparable basis, even for a time much better education.

Informal Education

It is very easy to understand that informal education informal means, it is considered unofficial and informal education, because

The Classical Education Model

Billed as a return to a proven methodology of past centuries, the classical model of education is gaining popularity among homeschooling parents. The model is characterized by the influence of history, art, culture, languages, philosophy and literature of Western civilization. With a Christian emphasis (it also focuses on developing a biblical worldview and theology is considered the queen of the sciences), this model is the core of the trivium, which tailors the lesson material cognitive development of children.

The Trivium is on three levels or phases of teaching and learning based based on age and ability of the child. The objectives of the Trivium are grammar, logic and rhetoric.

Level-grammar

This step is based on learning. In Bloom’s taxonomy, which is to learn as the base of the pyramid. At this point the memory is at the center. Many public school systems call this “kill and drill.” The idea is for children to learn vocabulary, rules and basics first. This level of elementary-age children is recommended.

Dialectic level

Even as the stage of the analysis of thought and understanding, which is recommended for middle-aged school children.
