Action Research in Education – 10 Ways of Improving My Teaching Practice

This list presents the key findings of a recent action research (AR) learned study on the development of curricula in a military college. I hope you will find some reasons to see you involved in AR.

First The four types of knowledge: experience, presentation, propositional, practical. I see them now more explicitly in the classroom, I am planning and construction at the university. I evaluate applications in knowledge on the basis of this framework. I am looking for ways to integrate all four in all subjects. I introduced the idea in our program, faculty development, because it told a synergy with our philosophy of education.

Second Unproductive exercise in communication: a useful set of techniques to address a formal and systematic problems. This is a difficult area for me as a communicator in general, to the time and effort and rework that comes so easily to me to spend. But we know that in such cases, you get a good price by using your strengths, not only to correct deficiencies. Made me aware of my communication methods and frameworks.

Third The profile of the development of leadership qualities: fascinating and useful model for the participation of organizations Torbert large-scale transformation through self-awareness and a sense of what is possible to predict and calibrate the friction points. I shall not be capable of it yet, but I can see how powerful they may be within my college, because it is a scaffolding around the organization of the work we already do with the transformation of individual leaders.

Criminal Justice Career Education Possibilities

Crime prevention and crime is a big part of society. Today’s professionals work in multiple areas in order to properly manage a variety of situations. Students can prepare for the training at different levels of education in the area. Through the criminal justice student career education opportunities can come in many careers.

Identification and pattern of criminal behavior is examined during the exercise. To watch the programs, what the company can crime and delinquency are looking to treat. Legal proceedings in the United States to solve crimes and criminals will be working with, and researched the appropriate punishment. Most careers have to be a student, an employee or a bachelor’s degree. Training is not required unless students want to get into leadership positions. Within a Criminal Justice student academic programs in the general courses of specialization in depth to prepare them for their career goals.

Special Education Inclusion

The inclusion of special schools means the participation of students in regular education classes and provide support services to these students. The main goal of inclusive education is that all students in a school, regardless of their strengths and weaknesses in one area, a part of the school community. Each student develops a sense of belonging with other students, teachers and caregivers. In a separate special schools, the children will not learn to function in a world without disabilities. For example, children are unable to communicate with disabilities in communication and emotional stress and could remain in an emotionally disturbed in separate institutions. Federal persons with disabilities Education Act (IDEA) believes it is imperative for schools to educate children with disabilities in general education.

The main advantage is the inclusion of special education that students both with and without disabilities together in an environment of camaraderie. Children learn, would accept individual differences in education and integration, lead to the development of new friendships. Formation also allows the inclusion of the active involvement of parents in the upbringing of their child. The law provides that students with disabilities have the right to attend regular classes and receive a proper education in the least restrictive environment. Although there are many benefits, including education creates uncertainty about the roles and responsibilities of regular classroom teachers and special teachers. However, studies show that the formation of inclusion are made enforceable in a healthy collaboration between special education teachers and regular teachers. With the help of services that would be available from the Department of Health, Physical Education department, occupational therapists, speech therapists, etc., the school management, teachers develop curricula for the teaching of active inclusion. Thus, the schools provide an environment for collaborative learning and to promote socialization.
